Certified Family+Wellness+Counselor
From a young age, I knew I wanted to help others. After exploring various careers, I finally found my calling when I became a certified Family+Wellness+Counselor in 2000, and I haven’t looked back since.
I provide a comprehensive set of services to help boost your confidence and offer support as you navigate your family’s health and wellness challenges. EDUCATION

Mifflin High School and off campus Alternative Business Highschool
1977-1979

I attended but did not graduate, until later getting my GED. However, Mifflin HS gave me structure I had not had as a young adult and a Physical Education dept that allowed girls to be involved in all sports. I was the first girl to be included into the wrestling team program
Part time we were offered ‘off campus education’ opportunity. A new concept in Alternative Schools for teaching, among other things, entrepreneurs. While I made D in Spanish class, I excelled at creating, establishing and running a café-pastry shop in the student lounge. I also chose courses, studies and activities in; Death and Dying and Journalism, assisting with running the school newspaper. These were new fields of learning to the public school system in Columbus Ohio
Central Texas College CTC
1981-1983
Fast Track Nursing Program with Medical and Nutritional focus with Clinicals and a strong interest in geriatrics as well as childhood development-from womb thru birth process, and the newborn to pediatric patients
Holographic Repatterning, HR later named Resonance Repatterning, RR, International Institute

Always more to learn and achieve, I continue to be educated and inspired by this Institute and its component for educational excellence, the Repatterning Practitioners Association. I am currently beginning courses in the teacher training programs and mentorship training, and courses to enhance my trauma recovery skills to assist more clients

1983–Currently
I graduated as an LPN-IV certified at Beth-El Nursing College in Colorado Springs. My scope of practice has led me into a variety of job opportunities and experiences at; LTC facilities, Volunteer at Augsburg Germany Hospital, Memorial Hospital Colorado Springs, where I was able to work on most of the care units as a float nurse including NICU, Labor & Delivery, NB nursery, Post-Partum and Med-Surge Took a leave of absence for a few years after the birth of my youngest child and then returned to Traveling nurse and Home Healthcare assignments Part to Full time, with several nursing agencies. All of which have given me a broad range of useful relationship and social experiences to use in the Healing Arts of my business and as a woman owned business

Mutual benefits of practicing my skills as a Resonance Repatterning Practitioner, teaching aroma therapy and application therapies and business success, while being mentored and useful within the office of AHS and its owner, Dr. Terrie Porras ND This office closed after the Covid pandemic in 2021 as Dr. Porras now has virtual clients & is working from her home.
